Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are obviously trying to capitalize on the success of Step Up, Step 2 the Streets, and the recently announced Step Up 3-D with this latest film, Step Brothers.  But I watched the whole thing and didn’t see one step contest.  I’m so confused!  How will they ever save the rec center? 

Haha, just kidding, that movie obviously would’ve been called Step Brothas. This trailer actually cheered me up a little.  Whereas Semi Pro promos make me want to scream at inanimate objects, this gave me a mild chuckle.  Perhaps Will Ferrell hasn’t Sandlered just yet. 

Throughout my coverage of How She Move, I’ve made light of the fact that How She Move the movie’s top MySpace friend was someone named "L Boogie (R.I.P cousin Chad Butler aka Pimp C)".  I mentioned it only because nothing says classy like "RIP" in your MySpace name.  And as commenter BDarbs pointed out, the complexity of a person’s MySpace name is generally inversely proportional to their intelligence.

Today, someone named Dan had to ruin the party by explaining who Pimp C actually was.  As he says, "I guess this is how he die."

Influential Southern rapper Pimp C died of an accidental overdose of a combination of drugs he had named in his lyrics — codeine and promethazine, the county coroner’s office ruled Monday. Pimp C, born Chad Butler, was 33 when he was found in his bed December 4 at the upscale Mondrian hotel in West Hollywood.

Anyway, I guess what I’m trying to say is, sorry for making fun of a dead guy.  And that making fun of dead people is funnier when you don’t know them.

MTV today has this exclusive clip from How She Move, the family movie of the year that you can take the kids to whilst wondering what the f*ck’s wrong with their entire generation.

Not surprisingly, they settle their disputes via clappin’ and stompin’.  I know, to you and I it looks silly, but this one was for our friends L Boogie (R.I.P cousin Chad Butler aka Pimp C) and MSz. PYT *THR0WEd* [[ RiP SHAY-SHAY ]].  Yup, nothing says classy like “RIP” in your Myspace name.  I know I couldn’t have gotten over my best friend’s murder without both a Myspace shout out, and a decal of Calvin peeing on "Dat punk who done shot my homie Squeezebox" on my truck.
