The Land of the Lost movie stars Will Ferrell and Danny McBride (of The Foot Fist Way). JFX Online has this and a couple other pics from the set.

A forest ranger along with his two children inadvertently stumble into a mysterious land populated by dinosaurs and other creatures, including the mysterious and dangerous race of Sleestak.

Normally I wouldn’t post pictures this boring, but I thought it was important to note that, at the very least, they don’t seem to be relying on his hair and costume for most of the comedy this time.

I posted the red-band trailer of The Foot Fist Way a while back – this is the green-band version.  In any case, the message is the same – this movie is good because Will Ferrell says so.

Maybe it’s the hangover talking, but punching old ladies just isn’t as funny as it is in real life.

Good tagline: The story of a man who teaches people how to kick other people in the face. 

Bad tagline:  A comedy about someone you know.  Anyone who can explain what the hell that even means gets a gold star.  And a punch to the groin.

Good Gimmick:  A karate guy wearing sunglasses – you wouldn’t hit a guy with glasses, would you? LOL!

Bad Gimmick:  Ripping off the shirt-matches-the-wallpaper gag from Garden State.  Also, Jessica Alba’s in it.  And Aaron Eckhart has the same stupid hair and manly chin he has in every movie.  Leave me alone, man, I’m not gay!  How many times do I have to tell myself?

In conclusion, Meet Bill is fucking fired. 

This is the trailer for The Foot Fist Way (or, as it’s known in Mexico, The Foot Fist, Guey) , a little movie that’s been out since 2006 and finally getting a theatrical release in April courtesy of Paramount Vantage.

As noted by the trailer, it’s a favorite of Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, and /Film notes that Patton Oswalt has been “declaring it a sui generis work on par with The Big Lebowski” (that adorable little lesbian knows it gets me so hot when he talks Latin).

They also dug up star Danny McBride’s Borat-like appearance (as "king of the demo" Fred Simmons) on Conan.  Anyway, bottom line, if I were to rank martial arts systems in ascending order of efficiency, I’d half to go Danny McBride Tae Kwon Do, Mexican Judo, and of course, Cock Punching.
