Oh Hollywood, you silly little piggy bank, you. Even though Ryan Reynold’s Green Lantern film hasn’t even finished principle photography yet, that hasn’t stopped Warner Bros. execs from beginning work on its sequel. Fresh off an all-night binger, no doubt, Lantern writers Greg Berlanti, Michael Green and Marc Guggenheim (Roman Catholics, I imagine) have already had their asses tapped to begin work on a treatment for part two of the Reynold’s 3D Abs Experience. In addition to Lantern, the three ring writing troop have also been asked to start treatment work on a project surrounding comic book hero The Flash, an idea that Reynolds was also once attached to. Based on the two treatments, a deal is in place for Warner Bros. to then hire the writers to pen the screenplay for whichever is green lit first.
I can’t help but imagine that Warner Bros. operates kind of like a drunken, rich college kid does when they’re at the bar. Writers approach them with small talk banter, until eventually Warner starts ordering Goldschlager shots for the entire bar and everyone gets to laugh at the fact that they just got drunk for free. Thanks bro! Where the thought of EVEN MORE Ryan Reynolds in digital pants kind of makes me fart blood, leave it to YouTube to help me find one fan who wants all the Reynolds she can get.
Warning: your pants may explode watching this fist fest.
