Tomorrow night, Entertainment Tonight is going to rock our worlds with the exclusive first look at the trailer for World War Z, which is based on the name of the best-selling book by Max Brooks. Directed by Marc Forster and starring Brad Pitt, Matthew Fox and a bunch of people who will be eaten, the film revolves around this plot: “A U.N. employee is racing against time and fate, as he travels the world trying to stop the outbreak of a deadly Zombie pandemic.”

That, of course, was not the plot of the book, but we have been there and done that to death and brought it back to life so it could eat our brains before we did it to death again. Since its inception, this book-to-film process has been a complete mess, and it has reportedly cost Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment and the other production companies north of $150 million to get to a point at which it is simply acceptable to finally release.

But hey, check out the sweet zombie wave coming down those stairs. That’s pretty cool, right?

Ugh, Kailey was the worst prom date ever.

When it comes to his career as a writer and director of horror films, Rob Zombie has received his fair share of both positive and negative reviews. But somewhere in my brain, there’s a 16-year old loser watching Beavis and Butthead rave about White Zombie’s “Thunder Kiss 65”, so I’m always going to be fond of the 47-year old purveyor of the macabre. Also, The Devil’s Rejects was pretty great.

Fortunately, Zombie is back to making his unique brand of horror films – as opposed to studio retreads like Halloween – with The Lords of Salem, which takes us back to the era of heavy metal as a link to Satan, or the good old days, as I call it. A new teaser trailer for Lords has hit the web and it looks… freaky as all hell. It has witches being burned at the stake, freaks licking babies and a hot girl riding a ram.

Basically, it was made by Rob Zombie.

On Thursday, people who actually use their Google+ accounts can log in for a special Q&A Google Hangout with Lincoln director Steven Spielberg and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who plays Robert Todd Lincoln, after the official trailer for the film that is going to win eleventy billion Oscars is released. If you’re unfamiliar with the story of Lincoln, he is generally regarded as one of the greatest presidents in American history. Born in a log cabin, Lincoln’s father was a pioneer in a special kind of logs that made it even easier for people to build their own homes, and that was important because small children were often left to run entire families since the average life span of that era was 9 years.

Eventually, Lincoln grew really tall and people were like, “Well you’re the tallest bro, so you get to be president” and Lincoln was all, “Only if I get an awesome hat” and the Supreme Court voted 4-3 that he could have that awesome hat. Soon, a giant war broke out between the North and the South, because British people were still really pissed that we weren’t sending money home anymore, so they told the southern states that the North was saying really f*cked up things about them. That war became known as the War of 1812.
