This is Emily.  And though she looks like remarkably like a real person, she’s not.  I mean, she used to be, but then they ground her up and fed her to some robots, and this is what came out.  Or something like that.

Using (USC’s) Institute for Creative Technologies’ special scanning system that can capture facial details down to the individual pore, the face of actress Emily O’Brien was transformed into a digital representation of herself, which could then be entirely machine-manipulated. A special spherical lighting rig captured O’Brien in 35 reference facial poses using a pair of high resolution digital cameras. The facial maps were then converted into 3D data using Image Metrics’ proprietary markerless motion capture technology. [Technobob]

So… does that mean the chemistry between us was real or did they add that later too, because I was pretty sure she wanted to fuck me.

Dear Readers, sorry about the site going down like your sister in a club bathroom yesterday.  I tried to figure out the problem myself, but it turns out the internet doesn’t have a giant ON/OFF switch, so I was stumped.

Without getting into the gory details, once I turned it over to the "tech people", we started with bugs and small animals and eventually moved up to vagrants and retarded kids, and it appears our sacrifices have finally appeased the angry robot Gods.

More posts are on the way, but while we’re upgrading and improving the system to ensure that you never have to spend time at work actually working ever again, the comments will be turned off.  In the meantime, feel free to email me your child rape and/or racially insensitive commentary.  Just kidding, please don’t.  Anyway, we’ll be back up to full speed as soon as we finish running the u-joints through the krypto-pentium atom smashers or

Hot on the heels of reports that Jonah Hill turned down a role as Shia LeBeouf’s roommate at Penn in Tranformers 2, Rainn Wilson has announced that he’s signed on for a minor role.  Oh, but who will he play?  I’m virtually shomiting with anticipation.

/Film found this video of an animatronic Wall E roaming the streets of LA.  The mobile animatronic version of Wall E was developed by Disney/Pixar for Disney amusement parks, presumably so that teenagers could beat something up that doesn’t have a tiny, terrified out-of-work actor inside.

Watching the video, I can safely say I haven’t been this sexually attracted to a robot since Small Wonder went off the air. Still, as far as robots go, I think I still have to give the edge to these guys:
