The upcoming DeNiro/Pacino joint Righteous Kill has a new poster out in which it appears they’ve decided to make the tagline the focal point. That’s all well and good, but I think they forgot the last line, which is “NO ONE LIKES A PRUDE”.

Righteous Kill is a cop movie; What Just Happened a Barry Levinson-comedy based on the bestselling memoir written by the film’s producer, Art Linson.
What Just Happened? is a winningly sharp comedy about two nail-biting, back-stabbing, roller-coaster weeks in the world of a middle-aged Hollywood producer — as he tries to juggle an actual life with an outrageous series of crises in his day job.
I found this news about as interesting as an oatmeal sale, so I tried to spice the posters up a bit. …And as often happens, failed miserably. Don’t believe the hype, the magic wand tool isn’t nearly as easy as they make it sound.

Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino are the greatest living actors because everyone says so. They’re in another movie together and it’s called Righteous Kill. They play two hardboiled, method-acting Italian cops and if you think they’re going to take crap from anyone, well, you sir can just stand there whilst I yell loudly and gesture at my crotch. I’m sorry, I’m Italian, it’s just what we do.
50 Cent is also in this, and he’s similarly known for his in-your-face attitude and frequent crotchgrabbery. The blacks are always copying us. He even plays a guy named ‘Spider’ like Michael Imperioli did in Goodfellas. Meanwhile, DeNiro plays “Turk”, Al Pacino plays “Rooster”, and Brian Dennehy plays Lieutenant Hingus, whose goal in life I can only assume is a promotion to Colonel.

This is the trailer for Righteous Kill, starring Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, and 50 Cent. Pacino’s probably the best actor of the three, but 50 has the edge in gunshot wounds.
The soundtrack sounds like a mashup of Sympathy for the Devil, Lose Yourself by Eminem, and Right Here Right Now by Jesus Jones, and the movie appears to be about two detectives tracking a killer who targets A-holes. It also stars Carla Gugino from Son in Law/Entourage, who’s gotta nice pair a dem Guginos, youknowwhatI’msayin’? Boosh.
It opens September 12th, and was directed by Jon Avnet, who most recently directed 88 Minutes, who also directed Fried Green Tomatoes, a film I largely credit for making me the man I am today.
/Film today has a trailer for the upcoming De Niro/Pacino flick Righteous Kill, their first film together since Heat and that one time they double teamed Ellen Burstin in the grip truck on the Paramount lot.
Al Pacino and Robert De Niro play two Veteran New York City Detectives on the hunt for a vigilante who may be one of their own. Donnie Wahlberg, Brian Dennehy, Carla Gugino, 50 Cent and John Leguizamo also star. Righteous Kill will hit theaters in 2008.
You know, as soon as I saw Get Rich or Die Tryin’ I thought to myself, "Man, I sure hope 50 Cent gets a chance to work with the director of Fried Green Tomatoes." That movie just pwns me, bro. And now it’s finally happening – thanks, God.
