Bash Brett Ratner’s crappy movies all you want, you have to admit, the man’s kissed a lot of famous dudes.  Here are the ten creepiest pictures of him I could find.  And really, it wasn’t hard, the man’s like an awkwardness factory.

Paris Hilton has joined the cast of director Todd Solondz’ upcoming sequel to his 1998 movie Happiness, and while this isn’t exactly good news, it does give me yet another excuse to clips from the original.  In the one above, I think Philip Seymour Hoffman might have actually meant to call Paris Hilton.  God, if there were any justice in the world he would’ve won five Oscars for this.  I’ve got a longer clip after the jump – do yourself a favor and fast forward to the 2:41 mark and watch him deliver one of the best lines in all of cinema.

Repo the Genetic Opera is a goth musical rock opera starring Paris Hilton, and as you can imagine it’s getting some pretty terrible reviews.  Luckily, director Darren Lynn Bousman has a totally original explanation for all this:

“The reviews have been so polarizing. Some of the reviews are atrocious, in fact I’ll read you one right now, it says, “‘Repo! A Genetic Opera’, this year’s worst film, or the worst film ever made”. The next one underneath that calls it “a breath of fresh air, best movie I’ve seen all year”. So, that is the majority of the reviews. They are completely polarizing, and you know what, that’s what I wanted to make. I wanted to make something that wasn’t safe, that was dangerous, and I think we accomplished that.”

I think a dude praised Picasso or someone for polarizing reactions to his work one time, just to be different, and somehow polarizing reactions = great work instantly became the first commandment of the hack bible.

“It sucks because the majority of people will go on and they will read the reviews, but this is not a movie for critics. It’s just not, it’s a movie for fans.”

I know, critics suck!  Fans are so much better! They just pay money and then when they have an opinion they don’t write it down!

Lovely FilmDrunkard Erica directed my attention to this new extended clip from Repo: The Genetic Opera.  It’s a goth musical, from the makers of Saw, starring Paris Hilton.  So pretty much the worst thing you could imagine times 100.

Look for the vag injection at the 1:40 mark.  “We’re gonna need a bigger syringe!”
