This deleted scene from Terminator 3 (recently dug up by /Film) helps answer a question I never once thought to ask – why do the Terminators look like Arnold Schwartzenegger?  (I always assumed it was because robots are strong).  But this clip seems to suggest that Skynet used a real soldier as a model, “Chief Master Sergeant William Candy,” who, you guessed it, looks just like Arnold.  Only he has a silly accent.  Why?  DUH, because silly accents are funny.  Man, I’m kicking myself for never seeing this.  If this was a deleted scene, imagine what they must’ve kept in!

Did you know when you type in “Bruno” on IMDB, the first entry that pops up is “nicknames: Bruce Willis?”  It’s true. Don’t ask me how I know.  And that knowledge is at least as interesting as this new trailer for Surrogates, starring Bruno Willis himself, a movie about robot dopplegangers.  It’s based on a graphic novel!  From the director of Terminator 3!  I don’t even remember that movie!  This movie will be good because it looks like other movies!

First Brett Ratner and now this – Gerard Butler, who was supposed to play Snake Plissken, has dropped out of the Escape From New York remake, reportedly due to creative differences.

I got fired for creative differences once.  I thought the kids should be able to give me back massages.  I don’t see what’s wrong with that, they gotta learn some time.  I only asked for "hand relief" a couple times.

Jonathan Mostow, who directed Terminator 3, is currently writing the script with the option to direct.  Escape From New York, of course, is John Carpenter’s futuristic 1981 movie about a convict sent to rescue a world leader from New York (which had been turned into a maximum security prison) in the year 1998.  In the remake, Butler was to be sent back in time to "jump on the grenade" and save America the public embarrassment of its elected leader getting a blowjob from a fat chick.
