Simon Pegg and How to Lose Friends and Alienate People (trailer) director Robert Weide have taken to the nets, urging fans not to buy the DVD.  The situation is sort of complicated (full rundown here), but the gist is that Weide and Pegg worked hard on extra material for the UK release and then got screwed when despite their best efforts, none of made it to the US release.

Weide goes into great detail about what he wanted and what they actually got and why an interview, a snippet of which I’ll include after the jump. But bottom line, he and Pegg say you shouldn’t buy the DVD.  That’s cute you were thinking of us, guys, but honestly, you had me at “starring Kirsten Dunst.”  Anyway, I think It’s clear why the movie failed: not enough animals on the poster.  No bears riding horses? That’s just lazy.

Idontlikeyouinthatway has a couple new pictures of Megan Fox from How to Lose Friends and Alienate People.  My only question: How the hell are these the same boobs as these?  Where did they go?  You can’t hide from me forever, titties.  I don’t care what the police say.

How to Lose Friends and Alienate People stars Simon Pegg… but also Kirsten Dunst.  In this scene, Pegg is about to ask her out for the first time when all of a sudden, Danny Huston, who plays the same goddamned character in every movie, comes over and cockblocks.  Then the plot stretches itself thin when Huston gives Pegg a big speech about how a girl like Kirsten Dunst would never fall for a guy like Simon Pegg.  Though in real life, I know from personal experience that Kirsten Dunst gives it up to any guy with an 8-ball and a motel key.  And by personal experience, I mean I just made that up because her teeth are kinda funny. Megan Fox plays a sexy version of Mother Theresa in this kinda-sorta-but-not-really funny fake trailer for Theresa: Making of a Saint.   So who made this video and why?  Does Megan Fox just like playing with video cameras?  Ouch, my boner just hit the keyboard again.  Actually, word on the street is that it’s viral marketing for How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, which opens October 3rd and stars Simon Pegg.  You know, if Megan Fox was really interested in becoming a saint, she should do a movie with full frontal.  If not going to church has taught me anything, it’s that Jesus loves young titties.

Opening in October, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People is an adaptation of a memoir by British journalist Toby Young, chronicling his failed five-year attempt to make it as a contributing editor at Vanity Fair.  But just because it’s based on a true story doesn’t mean it’s not exactly like The Devil Wears Prada.  Who knew working at fruity jerk-off magazines was such a big deal? 

Still, Simon Pegg’s in it, and not only is he pretty funny, but his last name is a slang term for a woman using a strap-on to have anal sex with a man.  Coincidence?  Uh, probably. Trailer after the jump.
