Scott Ruffalo, brother of actor Mark (Zodiac, Collateral), was shot in the head at his condo in Beverly Hills Monday morning, and is currently in very serious condition at an LA hospital.

According to sources, the shooting occurred at about 1:40 a.m. at the building where Scott Ruffalo lived on North Palm Drive. Police would not say who was involved. Scott, 39, is a hairdresser who has worked in salons in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills and has held a California state cosmetology license since 1991. TMZ reports that the “suspicious shooting” occurred in Scott’s Beverly Hills apartment, which means that a suicide attempt or accident has not yet been ruled out.

Well shit, that just sucks the wind out of your sails, doesn’t it.  I can’t really make a joke about a guy getting shot in the head, so I’m just gonna change the subject.  Children’s entertainer Banjo the clown fell from his stilts at a recent performance, swallowing his bike horn and impaling his rectum on a coke bottle.  He’s recuperating at an area hospital and is currently listed in hilarious condition.
