The dude from MTV caught up with Aaron Eckhart outside the Golden Globes last night to ask him if Harvey Dent would have a place in The Dark Knight sequel.  Since the film’s still barely at the brainstorming stage, who really gives a shit.  There’s no way the actors would have that kind of information anyway.  Actually, the reason I’m posting this clip is that I’m impressed by MTV’s ability to consistently produce the most socially awkward interviews imaginable.  Starting at the three-second mark, Eckhart chuckles for seven straight seconds.  I know that doesn’t sound like a super long time, but keep in mind no one made a joke or said anything remotely funny.  Yet Eckhart clearly states, “Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.”

Does anyone ever give this guy a straight answer about anything?  That is the fakest laugh I’ve ever heard that didn’t come out of Tom Cruise.  MTV: Where normal human interaction goes to die.

^{WATCH THE NEW DARK KNIGHT VIDEO AFTER THE JUMP}

One of the viral sites for The Dark Knight recently posted this new video (the link for which was embedded in an ad for Gotham City Pizzeria).  It shows two old guys sitting at a bar, but when one of them gets up to go to the bathroom, Two-Face walks in!  You can almost see a blurry third of his face!  Somebody hold me! 

UPDATE: I’m not posting this at the top of the page because Durden got to it before me.  But here it is in case you missed it. 

I assume that for many of you, The Dark Knight is a movie you actually want to see, so I respect your right to want to be surprised by not subjecting you to a giant spoiler-ass banner picture.  If you don’t want to see the full shot of Harvey Dent as Two-Face, feel free to continue enjoying the Quack Brothers and Professor Meow-Meow here.

I must say, well done again, Dark Knight.  They’ve turned a character that was sort of lame into pretty freaky looking villain.  He’s almost as scary as a little kid with a speech impediment. *jumps up on chair* Eeek, get it away from me!   [Source]

So after Warner Bros started a viral marketing campaign for The Dark Knight that included campaign rallies for a fictional candidate in a fictional election, some guys dressed like joker turned out to protest.  It’s still unclear if WB planned this or whether it was spontaneous – if the dorks were grown organically.  I’m pretty sure this is how pro wrestling got started.

I have a feeling all this was all the work of… DAVE SCHUDSEN: PUNK ROCK MARKETING EXEC. (He wears eyeliner – in the boardroom!  And a Misfits tie on casual Friday!)
