Normally I’m mostly indifferent to babies. They cry and poop a lot and ruin plane rides, and generally don’t bring much to the table until they reach pageant age. At least, that’s what I thought until last week, when Joe King sent me this picture of Mr. T Baby, aka B.A .”Baby Asian” Baracus (which I believe he found over on iruntheinternet). It quickly set the internet on fire, racking up more than 12,600 Facebook shares as of this writing, as well as mentions on Bravo’s Andy Cohen Live and Gabriel Iglesias’s Facebook page.  And for good reason. The way her chubby little arms and baby barrel chest mimic that of the former A-Team star make her pretty much the cutest thing ever. I mean, if you can look at these pictures without smiling, you should probably go get a job gassing puppies at the pound  because you’re dead inside.

Recently, I was able to reach out to Mr. T Baby’s father and lead costume designer, Brandon, from St. Paul, Minnesota, to get the full story behind the costume (JOURNALISM!). And much like the now-famous picture of his daughter’s first Halloween costume (it was last year, she was one and a half), the whole story made me smile. So with his permission, I thought I’d share with you this Halloween treat.

Halloween is just around the corner, but I think we might as well all just give up now, because there’s no way any of are outdoing B.A. Baracus here. In this case, I believe the B.A. stands for “Baby Asian.”

It’s been said that great writers are never as interesting as the stories they create, but apparently no one ever told that to Quentin Tarantino.  Which is smart, because the wizard who shows up when Q does too much blow would turn them into a newt.

Quentin Tarantino got into the spirit of Halloween by dressing as a Mexican wrestler and crashing a series of parties on a bus packed with hot women.
The director went for the “lucha libre” look Saturday in a blue-and-gold spandex mask and velvet jacket as his bus of scantily clad girls made the LA party circuit.
One spy said, “Quentin filled the bus with girls and alcohol and drove around crashing house parties. He seemed to be enjoying the company of quite a few women, including an Asian Snooki, an angel and a mermaid. He unloaded everybody at a mansion in the Hollywood Hills, where he sat on the sofa surrounded by the girls. It was as good as any scene in his movies.” [PageSix]

Not to be outdone, George Lucas filled a giant terrarium with cats and sat staring at them alone until, at the stroke of midnight, he plucked out the plumpest one and swallowed it whole.

Wait, you get a discount for crotchless?  I would think that’d cost extra.  How else you going to get a tail or a ponytail in there?  Sub-comment: What do I take from all these crotch-damaged Na’vi costumes?  Trannies love Avatar.  Sub-comment 2: Crotchless pants 15% off?  Hmm, not ideal, but I can work with it.
