In a revelation as shocking as the news that Andy Garcia once had a siamese twin growing from his shoulder, Quantum of Solace co-star Gemma Arterton recently revealed to Esquire that she’s a polydactyl.

She was born with six fingers on each hand.
“It’s my little oddity that I’m really proud of,” she said to Esquire magazine. “It makes me different.” Different indeed. The condition, called Polydactyly, occurs in 1 of every 500 births.
As a child, the surplus digits were “tied,” which causes the boneless protrusions to fall off with time. She still bares bumpy scars where her extra appendages once were.
Earlier this year, she revealed that she was also born with a crumpled ear, which was surgically corrected in childhood. “I was born with lots of deformities,” the 22-year-old actress told the British press. [Yahoo]

Give her parents credit for allowing her to grow and blossom into the beautiful flower that she is.  If my baby came out with 12 fingers and a nubbin ear I doubt I’d be nearly as understanding. “Demon spawn! Burn the witch!” I’d yell at my wife from behind the doctor.

Look, I don’t mind blowing the plot of bad movies, but I have high hopes for Quantum of Solace. As such, I would’ve just as soon not read the following story, but like grandma taking a dump, some things you can’t unsee.  Bottom line, if you don’t want to know anything about the new James Bond movie, stop reading here.  Quantum of Solace opens October 31st in the U.K., November 14th in North America.

After the jump, I’ve got the trailer for Three and Out, starring soon-to-be Bond girl Gemma Arterton (pictured) and DJ Qualls look-alike Mackenzie Crook.

It’s a British film based on the premise that subway conductors get ten years salary and early retirement if they run over three people.  Mackenzie Crook plays a driver searching for his third.  It’s a fun trailer – I like how the announcer reads all the cue cards for you.  It’s very helpful if you’re blind, or retarded, or a blind retard.

I should also note that in England, they call the subway "the tube".  It makes me wonder if they call subway sandwiches "tube sandwiches", which I’m sure your mother would enjoy.

Variety is confirming rumors that Gemma Arterton will be in the next James Bond flick.  I still don’t know who she is, but this picture is a lot hotter than the last one I posted.

Still no word on the title, as Variety refers to the movie only as "the 22nd film in the franchise."

The Marc Forster-helmed film, loosely based on the Ian Fleming short story "Risico," finds 007 (Daniel Craig) dispatched to infiltrate a drug ring flooding Britain with heroin. "Royale" scribe Paul Haggis penned the screenplay, furthering an earlier draft written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.

It’s probably hopeless, but I still have my fingers crossed that this will be a return to the overtly sexist Bond who slaps asses and the chick’s name is Nipple McBoner or something.

Gemma Arterton is the girl in the new Bond flick – which will be called 007, if you believe rumors that AICN starts.

I don’t know who this chick is, but I couldn’t find any naked pictures of her on the internet, so I’m just gonna assume that she’s either a prude or a huge cocktease.   

Plus she’s got that funky hairstyle with the stupid bangs that girls always think is really cool.  “OMG! She looks so cute! I should totally do my hair like that!” They’ll say. 

Meanwhile, the girl in question is always some super hot chick.  Yes, she looks good with that hairstyle.  She’d also look good in one of those trucker hats with a fish coming out the front.  Anyone else would look like Cleopatra’s retarded cousin.   Bond will be out November 7th.
