The trailer for The Beaver hit the web late Friday (directed by Jodie Foster from Kyle Killen’s Black List script, starring Mel Gibson as an alcoholic father who turns his life around with the help of a talking beaver puppet).  As Mel Gibson’s first post pack-of-N-words-gate performance, someone making a mash-up of it was as inevitable as me making a childish joke about Jodie Foster probably knowing a little something about stuffing a fist inside a beaver (not that there’s anything wrong with that).  So here’s the recut trailer for The Beaver, with the beaver of course demanding to be blown in a jacuzzi and such.  It probably could’ve been a little better, but it’s passable.  I think the best part was Mel’s beaver yelling at Anton Yelchin to stop being such a little bitch.  Probably anyone who saw Charlie Bartlett can relate to that.  Heck, sometimes I’ll even wake up in the middle of the night, screaming for Anton Yelchin to stop being a bitch.  Scares the hell out of my cats.

Here’s Danny DeVito playing Ghandi in an Inside the Actors Studio-parody Funny or Die video directed by Pulitzer-winning writer/director/playwright David Mamet.  You know, in case you were wondering what that might be like.  It’s hard to say why David Mamet is doing Funny or Die parodies now, but in David Mamet’s hands, it’s less a straight parody than a meditation on the recent rise in sequels and remakes (in the form of Danny DeVito talking about a fictional remake of a famous Ben Kingsley role, obviously).  I wouldn’t call it traditionally funny (I smiled a few times) but it’s definitely David Mamety.  This wins the David Mamet-memorial Oscar for David Mametiness.

Fat guy dancing, gratuitous crotch bulge, leotards — it really has everything. As for the video, SPOILER ALERT: it’s funny.

In newsier news, The Wrap is reporting that Ferrell has signed on to star in a Spanish-language comedy called “Casa de mi Padre,” which, if my Spanish serves me, roughly translates to “The Snakes of the Toilet.”  Wait, did I say Spanish?  I did indeed.  Like with subtitles and everything.

Ferrell is attached to star in and produce a Spanish-language comedy titled “Casa de mi padre,” an individual familiar with the project has told TheWrap.
Ferrell will produce through his company Gary Sanchez Productions, where the project is in development.
Ferrell’s publicist would neither confirm nor deny his involvement to TheWrap.

Based on what I know of Spanish TV, I assume Ferrell will play either a busty socialite or a giant baby licking a lollipop.  Play me off, accordion cat.  (*paints zebra stripes on a donkey*)

I know we normally like to use the Friday Free For All for awesome finds like Hard Ticket to Hawaii or shower cams of your sister scrubbing her moose, but A) This video is really funny and C) I forgot to include it in the Morning Links. So here’s the second installment of MA Men, starring the legendary Joey McIntyre and other people. And in case you haven’t seen the first one, you can watch that here.

I was originally going to use this for Morning Links, but as I watched it again I realized it was clearly worthy of its own post.  So here’s Tim Roth being fairly hilarious as a man-pimp in Brostitute, an exposé about guys who bro down with other bros for money.  It’s a great concept, but Roth’s British pronunciation of “nachos” makes it at least ten times funnier.  On the serious, if there was actually money in this, I would totally do it.  I can dumb it down for the masses.  I’ve hit on community college girls before.  Ooh, yeah, sorry… pretending to care about baseball’s gonna cost extra.  But, dude.  I am like the Traci Lords of fart play.

(*sniff*) The hardest part is pretending I don’t watch Bravo.
