Another day, another batch of new Dark Knight pics.  I may have to start bashing this movie, because right now my expectations are so high that if it’s not the best movie of all time I might have to self immolate in penance.  FilmoFilia has some new stills, many of which feature the joker looking creepy and badass.  Meanwhile, allposters has added a new poster of the joker looking into the camera with "Ha!" scrawled across the top.  It sort of goes along with the videogum article someone sent me on Friday about how the new trend in livejournal avatars is "jokerized" pictures of celebrities.  I don’t know what any of that meant, but yesterday I bought a new typewriter.  It was really expensive because it’s as big as an elephant and runs on coal.

One of the viral sites for The Dark Knight recently posted this new video (the link for which was embedded in an ad for Gotham City Pizzeria).  It shows two old guys sitting at a bar, but when one of them gets up to go to the bathroom, Two-Face walks in!  You can almost see a blurry third of his face!  Somebody hold me! 

See it in it’s original context here.  You have to roll your mouse over the "HA" in "Gotham" and then when it starts to vibrate, you click on it, and it will… oh who cares.

We in the movie blog world are required to crave new Dark Knight stuff like a pornstar craves semen, or Brett Ratner craves nachos.  Really, it doesn’t matter how trivial it is.  Chris Nolan could film himself puffing out his stomach in the hotel room mirror, and the accompanying AICN headline would have no less than twelve exclamation points.

Comcast OnDemand recently featured two new Dark Knight videos – an alternate trailer and a "Gotham City News" program (after the jump).  They both made their way to YouTube via people filming the TV like retarded cavemen.  I’ve heard that if you plug the camera into the TV and film yourself filming yourself jacking off to you filming yourself jacking off, you can actually time travel.

Oh look, they already took down the Gotham news video.  See, the goal of advertising is to be seen by as few people as possible. It gives dorky shut-ins  something to lord over their friends.

In this new Dark Knight featurette, director Chris Nolan and his DP [hehe... -Ed.] talk about all the advantages of IMAX, and why they chose to shoot the movie on IMAX, and how IMAX is so great.  SPOILER ALERT: Most of their reasons are variations on “because it’s big.”  Bottom line, if Dark Knight were a woman, I’d have sex with her.  Who am I kidding, I’d bone it even if it were a man.  Or a dog.  Or a baby.  Or the corpse of a horse.  Or a wasp’s nest.
