Above, I’ve got the trailer for Saw V. Haha, just kidding, it’s actually after the jump. But I stand by their basic similarity.

It’s been rumored for a while but now it’s official: Darren Aronofsky (The Fountain, Requiem for a Dream) will direct a new installment of Robocop for MGM. David Self (Road to Perdition, Thirteen Days) will write the screenplay.  It’s a happy day for everyone who saw the original and thought, "I really like this, but I think it could use some split screens and gimmicky montage editing." 

However, if at some point Robocop goes to a strip club and demands ass-to-ass it would be the best thing ever.
