About FILMDRUNK – FilmDrunk was founded in 2007 on the idea that film criticism should be fun, and that a business as silly as entertainment should have a site dedicated to covering it in a manner befitting the material.  Updated with film reviews, news, trailers, videos and film-related web stuff eight to ten times a day, we try to make entertainment news a little more entertaining.

In summer 2010, we started a weekly podcast, The FilmDrunk Frotcast (free on iTunes), in which our distinguished panel talks movies and ponders life’s big questions.  Recent guests have included comedian Rob Huebel, Black Dynamite director Scott Sanders, and Sh*t My Dad Says creators Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker.  New episodes usually go up Thursday mornings.

FilmDrunk is written and edited by Vince Mancini.  All content written by Vince unless otherwise noted.  Send your tips to the editor here.  Occasional guest posts have been contributed by RoboPanda, Burnsy, Chodin, DangerGuerrero, CharethCutestory and Christmas Ape (aka Mike Tunison).

About VINCE MANCINI (the one on the right, in case that was unclear)
MeandJamesNguyenVince Mancini is a central Californian living in San Francisco, a writer, comedian, TV presenter, and the founding editor of FilmDrunk.com.  You can also find his work in IFC, Maxim, and the Portland Mercury . With a wealth of relevant work experience, Vince has been previously employed as a barista (that’s Italian for ‘Loser’), a Chinese food chef, a forklift driver, an adult film editor, and a handsome secret agent with a sweet yet masculine scent.  One time he went to UC San Diego, and currently, his business card describes him as a ‘Pop and Locksmith’.  (On a serious note, he has an MFA in creative writing from Columbia too, in case you want to hire him to write something.  The man has integrity, but he’s not allergic to cash money).  In 2010, he became a correspondent for IFC’s The Grid, contributing segments covering the world of independent film.

Vince has won many awards for his work, including first place at the 6th grade spelling bee and a lollipop from the barber for sitting still.
