New York Times columnist David Pogue proposed to his girlfriend by making a fake movie trailer — a thinly veiled version of their love story. He persuaded the movie theater at a summer resort to play it before a movie they went to see with both of their families.
He also hid a video camera in a ficus plant next to the screen to capture her reaction, which is absolutely priceless. Here’s a video of the trailer — with her reaction inset — along with the proposal.
