Mr. Magorium director on Breaking Bad: “No one has two copies of Mr. Magorium.”

Be advised, this is the mildest spoiler ever, but nonetheless, SPOILER ALERT: in the last episode of Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston’s Walter White finds himself in place with two copies of Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium on DVD. The owner explains, “I’m not much of a movie guy.”

TMZ caught up with Mr. Magorium director Zach Helm to try to stir up some controversy, but it turns out, the only real quibble Helm had with the scene in Breaking Bad was its lack of realism.

Zach also said as good as “Breaking Bad” is … the plot line of ANYONE having 2 DVDs of that movie is simply unbelievable.  As he put it, “That is exactly two more copies than are allowed in my house.”

I can’t argue with that logic. Sometimes all it takes is one line of dialog to make something believable. If the guy had explained, “Yeah, my son’s a movie blogger,” it all would’ve made sense. Our houses are full of crap DVDs no one wanted.

Zach Helm, the writer/director of “Magorium” tells TMZ … “Having myself endured the ignominy of watching the Technicolor train-wreck that is ‘Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium’ multiple times every day for over a year, I can attest to it being the perfect Kafka-esque Hell for a character of such moral ambiguity as Walter White.”

Helm, who made his directorial debut with 2007’s Emporium, which went on to gross $69 million worldwide on a $65 million budget (not including marketing costs), added “So anyway, do you want mustard or what? You’re holding up the line.”
