E.L. James Has Launched Her Own Line Of ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Wine

I guess when the subject of your bestselling book series for adults is erotic bondage and submission, originating as fan fiction posted on a Twilight message board, your options for product tie-ins and endorsements are pretty limited. However, chalk up another huge, profitable victory for Fifty Shades of Grey author E.L. James (real name SnowQueen IceDragon) who is launching her own line of Fifty Shades wine.

According to Deadline, you can now purchase bottles of 2009 Fifty Shades of Grey Red Satin and 2012 Fifty Shades of Grey White Silk for just $17.99 per bottle or $215.88 for an entire case. While I’m no expert sommelier by any means, I do believe that $18 means this is some high-end sh*t right here. Even better, you no longer have to refer to James’ own wine list that she seriously has on her website as a means of recommending specific wines to go along with parts of her books.

Instead, you can just crack open a bottle of Satin or Silk, kick back and imagine that buzzing sound is coming from Charlie Hunnam.

Also, what’s up, E.L. James? Maybe you and I go get us a glass or 12 of wine later tonight.
