In case you were unaware, The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters on July 20, and I’m going to put my reputation as a suave gentleman drift car racer on the line by predicting that it will make a significant amount of money. But it seems that Warner Bros. is concerned that we might not be fully aware that Christopher Nolan’s final installment is actually going to be released, so they revealed more posters to calm our anxiety. This time they even got a little artsy on our asses.
The studio also somewhat bucked Nolan’s trend of keeping everything about his films under wraps, with the recent release of 50 pages of production notes. Seeing as I don’t like it when movies are even remotely spoiled for me, I haven’t read the production notes and I won’t post them either, because I have a great deal of respect for you, the FilmDrunkards.
But if you don’t care and you want to read them, Deadline went ahead and slapped a watermark over every page of the Warner Bros. release and posted the production notes for the whole world to read. I’ll just stick with the new posters after the jump and my childlike anticipation.

If the guns and violent imagery are too much for you, this one might better suit your needs…

And I think this one excites me the most…

Are you telling me TDK rises in the West and sets in the East? Mind=blown.
Welp, looks like I’m gonna have to be avoiding the internet. TV. Radio. Billboards. And people. For the next two weeks. Bye, everybody.
After seeing the first poster, I feel the need to shampoo my hair.
But what if I don’t care and I don’t want to read the production notes? Get some work done instead? You put me in a difficult spot.
Did anyone else stare at the first poster for two minutes thinking it was the Mad Hatter with a head the size of a peanut?
/A schooner is a sailboat, stupidhead.
After at the Magic Mike hype, I can’t read anything without hearing it in McConaughey’s sweet southern drawl.
“That Catwoman’s one sweet little kitty. She shore makes my dark knight rise, yes she does – awlright awlright awlriiiight”
McConaughey as Dark Knight? “I think i see some lawwwbreakers out here, and it’d be alot cooler if i did’nt”
The sewer cover one is less sideways-goatse than “I didn’t know Dr. Zoidberg was in this movie”
Why would their be paint “drip lines” from something stenciled ON THE GROUND?
I think you’re all missing the point: Bane’s eyeshadow in the first picture makes a Bat logo. THE SYMBOLISM, PEOPLE!
