As you can see by this comparison of the new A Good Day to Die Hard poster taken yesterday at a licensing expo in Las Vegas, with the official poster for 2007′s Live Free or Die Hard, Fox is really going all out with their marketing efforts. Get it? it’s set in Russia this time. You can tell by the diagonal city in the background. Though, to be fair, if Kevin Smith is to be believed, it is really hard to get Bruce Willis to stand where you want him to for a few seconds.
I’ll promise you this, Fox. I will try at least as hard to see this movie as you did to create the poster.

That guy can sure emote.
In Russia, Hard dies you.
Try Hard(er)
They should just do that for the whole movie. CGI in Russia and his son to replace DC and Justin Long; throw in some ADR to give Olyphant a Russian accent. BOOM. You got yourself Di5 Hard.
In all fairness, if a movie is nowhere near ready, trade show dress is usually slapped together. The general public isn’t really meant to see these sorts of things, anyway. I assure you, when the actual movie poster comes out, we will have plenty of other things to complain about.
On Final Exam day, it’s a Good Day to Try Hard.
Bruce Willis was born in 1955.
Ivan Drago has to be the villain! I always wanted a Die Hard and Rocky crossover.
The poster for the new Die Hard looks more diagonal-er, so it should be edgier than the last one.
Die Hard 5: Die-agonal
Finally, a reverse Red Heat.
C’mon guys. It’s like the iconic James Bond pose.
Finally someone to take those Russians down a peg or two. I’m tired of all the pro-Russian media brainwashing our kids.
