I found this image commemorating the ever-popular chick’s-legs-framing-the-foreground shot in movie posters. (It’s not actually 100 years, I just thought that sounded cool). I knew it was popular, but I didn’t really it was that popular. Other popular movie-poster designs I’ve noticed include the guy-looking-over-the-top-of-his-Ray-Bans and the old Matthew-McConaughey-using-a-lady-for-a-backrest style. Therefore, if you want to create a really popular poster, you might want to use Matthew McConaughey looking over the top of his Ray Bans while leaning on a lady with a chick’s legs framing the foreground. And lesbians.

They should have done this for ‘Batman’.
They wanted to do this for Precious, but it was all cankles and hair.
It’s just interesting how rarely pornos use that shot for their cover art, considering most of the filming is spent between a woman’s legs.
The poster for the Heather Mills documentary is only half as good as these.
New up.
Fun Fact: if you turn the poster for ‘Jaws’ upside-down, you get a poster for ‘Teeth’.
Fun Fact: Matthew McConaughey has T-Rex sized arms, that’s why every poster of him has his arms tucked in high-wasted pockets, or folded across his chest.
