StarWars-3D-Biff's Buddy

George Lucas is always looking for new ways to repackage and resell Star Wars so as to feed his addiction to fine cats, and what with him sitting front row while James Cameron accepted a best picture trophy at the Golden Globes the other night (where the winners could address their speeches directly to Lucas’ neck pouch)… well, I’m sure you can see where this is going.

George was so impressed with the Avatar’s technology that he thinks it could help pave the way for creating 3-D versions of his “Star Wars” movies.
“We’ve been looking for years and years and years of trying to take ‘Star Wars’ and put it in 3-D,” George explained to Access. “But, [the] technology hasn’t been there. We’ve been struggling with it, but I think this will be a new impetus to make that happen.” [AccessHollywood]

Great news! I’d been hoping George could go back and re-cut the Star Wars movies again.  Every time he does it they just get better and better!  I’m sure we can expect lots of neato flourishes like some CGI-groundhog-reaction shots during all the climactic battles.  Jar-Jar Shot First, they could call it.

Sidenote:  Has anyone made a Star Wars-themed gay porno called Han Shot First yet?  Seems like it’d be a good idea.
