Basterds gives a whole new meaning to the word “Fisting” and yes you should go see it just for that reason alone.

And for Eli Roth and his fucking HUGE ass arms of doom. Goddamn boy.

Basterds is best film of the hear so far. Which isn’t saying much, but still.

It certainly has its moments but my favourite bit was the lift of a bit of tension building brilliance from the Kelly’s Heroes soundtrack. Could’ve done with less jawjaw and more warwar. I guess the days when a director could borrow half the Yugoslav army and their surplus ordnance are long gone.
