It was meh. It is not a comedy. It's a drama that happens to take place in the world of stand up comedy. It's long and uncomfortable and the best parts in the movie are the celebrity cameos during the party. When I go to see an Apatow movie, I expect more funny. Because of this movie, now it's not a guarantee, and I'll have to pick my Apatow movie-going habits more carefully in the future. I saw Funny People this past weekend. It was meh. It is not a comedy.
