It looks like some of the best parts of Judd Apatow’s Funny People will be the movies within the movie, like the Adam-Sandler-as-a-manbaby comedy, “Re-Do,” in which Adam Sandler basically makes fun of the kind of movies he usually makes (see also: Jason Schwartzman’s fake show “Yo Teach…!”). Here we get a longer clip from Re-Do. It’s unclear whether this whole thing will be in the movie, but you gotta love all the movie clichés they nail in this (I’ve provided linked examples):
- The protagonist has to cure his affliction, before his big important meeting with the Japanese!
- The protagonists wants to be young again, gets his wish, but then gets MORE THAN HE BARGAINED FOR!
- GRR, EXPOSITORY DIALOGUE!
- “It took this wacky situation to teach me how to be a good father!“
- Waah, life doesn’t come with a handbook!
Did I miss any?

What about the poop jokes?
Not gonna lie, the Dave Matthews baby at the waterpark is freakin’ me out man.
They stole that man-baby idea from glancing at my cock in the urinal.
The Catholic Church condemns magic and magic casters in all forms. Yet, it turns out the secret to everlasting young boys was held within the hands of those they condemned.
Me so horny.
I dunno, does the “Let’s go find that wizard / genie / witch / fairy godmother / underage Thai hooker who did this to you!” quest count as a separate cliche?
I was so expecting Rob Schneider to pop out and drop a “You can poop it! You can poop it all night long!” line on us.
Will someone please explain a baby quiche? I’ve tried grinding babies up and cutting them into chunks, but they still fall!
Switching a full grown man’s head with a baby’s must have been much messier before photography.
I sure hope he’s going to sing that chanu….that hannach…you know, that Christmas song.
