Though it doesn’t have a set release date yet, Sony has bought the rights to Blood: The Last Vampire. Here’s the rundown:

Um, isn’t this the exact plot of Blade? It doesn’t pay to steal from Wesley Snipes, you know. You’ll just have to give half to the IRS.

Apparently Chow Yun Fat has signed on to play Whistler. Only instead of a broken leg, he will have a broken heart.
They even used the original script from Blade, but they removed (without laughing) from all the dialogue.

I loved the manga and the anime, but all i’ll enjoy about this one will be pulling my pud to Asian schoolgirls. so sad.

I’d see this just to hear an Asian try to say “vampilah”, “garrhik”, and “muthah fuckah”.
That last one is a required item in modern vampire flicks, right?

That movie looks like it’s missing the gratuitous nudity that most vampire movies have. I’ll past.
