Apparently Bumblebee has been living in Shia LaBeouf’s garage like a robot Alf since the last movie, and in this scene, Shia explains why he has to go off to college without him. You know, the ol’ it’s-not-you, robot-it’s-me speech. And then Bumblebee moans like R2D2 and cries actual liquid tears. What? You didn’t know robots could do that? Man, I want what Michael Bay’s been smoking. Transformers 2: You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll watch giant robots punch each other, you’ll wish you were stoneder.
