The Producer’s Guild of America has released their best picture nominations, and they are:
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (trailer, my review)
Frost/Nixon (trailer)
The Dark Knight (trailer)
Milk (trailer)
Slumdog Millionaire (trailer)The PGAs are typically a blueprint for the Oscars, which makes today’s news bad news for Revolutionary Road and the likewise shunned. Last year, four of five PGA contenders went on to score Best Picture nominations at the Academy Awards. [Yahoo]
I don’t know why we make such a big deal about this crap. You think it’s coincidence that four of the five nominees came out in the last month? The people who vote on this stuff just aren’t that smart, they probably vote for whatever they saw last. Which is why if I had a movie in contention, at the premiere I would serve popcorn laced with poison! My diabolical plan can’t possibly fail.

I would argue about these choices, but I’ve only seen Dark Knight so really that’s my only choice.
Milk is rich in vitamin Q.
I’ve seen Button, which was good, but probably not best picture good. Saw Milk last night, which was also good, but also just kind of slick and Hollywood, and I liked it less than Button. Haven’t seen Frost/Nixon yet, but it looks boring and it’s a Ron Howard movie. Haven’t seen Slumdog. I saw a video of a dog and an elephant who became friend on the internet. I mean, the video was on the internet, not like they met in a chat room. Anyway, that was good because I like it when animals become friends. But also when they eat each other.
I was gonna vote for Milk, but then Sean Penn queered the deal.
Is that Roland Burris watching McCain lick a young brad pitt?
MilkMalk is rich in vitaminQK.FIXED!
Do animals even engage in that type of behavior? I mean I’ve never been watching Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom and seen a bear or a lion start rug munching his ladyfriend . . .
Ooohhhh, you mean predator/prey kind of eating. My bad.
“Saw Milk last night”
My bad. We’ll get you some goggles
Where the fuck is the trailer for The Dark Knight, Vince? Lazy bastard.
In related news, I sent David Fincher a letter demanding my money back after he copped out on the whole “Brad Pitt turning into a little kid” bit. He disappears for 10 years and then there’s just some child actor in there? Fuck you, Fincher. Fuck you right where you breath.
Sorry…spoiler alert.
Right Brooklyn, I was hoping for a Marlon Wayans “Little Man” style makeover for Pitt.
“Didn’t feel like making a new picture”? And Jesus called you lazy for the Dark Knight trailer omission… SHEESH!
Juan, I was hoping he actually turned into Marlon Wayans.
I think the best picture is the one I got of Chodin making fuck to a whale.

Watch out, Broseph. Those things hump back.
Yeah yeah, I added the Dark Knight trailer. As if you all haven’t already seen the movie.
I re-gifted it because the genius from the other site said to.
P.S. Slumdog Millionaire has the first and only Bollywood style dance number I have every genuinely enjoyed, and I doubt it will happen again in my lifetime. It deserves the Oscar for that alone.
How does the House Bunny keep getting screwed over by all of these awards?
New up – less lazy.
For your leisurely enjoyment, I humbly present my lengthy review-slash-vivisection of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.”
