This makes me sad. There aren’t any Hunter Thompsons left. Nobody is good at doing drugs anymore or frankly deserving of the heightened or lower conciousness therein allowing them to see the greater truths and communicate them. Now we have asses like Amy Winehouse or Pete Dougherty who aren’t channeling it, aren’t embracing the madness, they’re just picking at sores. If you’re going to go over the edge do it on a motorcycle with guns blazing. I’m having a crappy day. Fuck it, I’m posting this ramble anyway.
This film will be shown at the cinema tent during Bonnaroo next week, so anyone else who is going should go check it out before its available in theaters.
Not to sound like a downer, but will there be any chicks seeing this that have seen the working end of a razor in the last three or four years?
