I’ve got a couple new clips – one Iron Man clip after the jump and another of a guy dressed as Iron Man flying a jetpack over the Alamo Draft House in Austin.  Actually it looks more like he’s wearing Iron Man pajamas, but if you’re piloting an actual jetpack, you’re pretty much automatically the coolest dude around, even if you’re wearing crocs and a No Fear shirt. 

The pilot (who keeps his mask on the entire time like a true gangsta) claims that more people have walked on the moon than have flown the jetpack he’s flying.   

He’s pretty cool, and his awesome jetpack reminds me of the time all the neighborhood kids put baseball cards in their spokes to make it sound like we were riding motorcycles. I didn’t have any so I just made vroom vroom sounds until my lips got tired.  Yeah, high school was pretty great.  [Thanks to Dan for the tip]

After the jump, I’ve got the newest trailer for The Wackness, starring Ben Kingsley as the drug-addled psychiatrist of a teenage drug dealer (set in 1994).  Olivia Thirlby plays Kingsley’s hot daughter and Method Man plays… um, a black guy.

The Wackness won the audience award at Sundance and has been getting decent reviews – I was thinking it looked interesting until Mary-Kate Olsen came along and pissed on my Grape Nuts.  Honestly, who puts an Olsen twin in their movie?  And if you do, why the hell is your movie playing at Sundance? It should be opening on 10,000 screens.  Either this dude made a really crappy deal or he’s driving around a platinum spacecar right now.

Some new Dark Knight posters are floating around the internet (see above and below), but I believe the original source was Omelete.  

The bootleg of the trailer (filmed on the infamous butt cam) has also made its way to YouTube – watch it now before it gets taken down (after the jump).  This one has a little more of the plot, with Heath Ledger’s Joker trying to rally the criminals of Gotham to kill Batman and Harvey Dent the new District Attorney trying to keep everything together with his ridiculously manly chin.  The non butt cam trailer comes out Sunday, and for the actual movie you’ll have to wait until July 18th.  

"You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain," Dent says, which seems to be the theme of the new trailer.  Personally, I don’t care so much about being a hero or a villain, I just want to live long enough to watch everyone else die so I can play with their stuff. -[Thanks to BGavin for the tip] 

A bus and several other cars were involved in a collision on the set of G.I. Joe in Prague this weekend.  There were only minor injuries, and sadly, the production remains on schedule.

Towelhead is a movie about the difficulties of growing up a sex-obssessed Arab girl in the post 9/11 world.  Everyone thinks you’re Mexican, LOL!

Anyway, although the content sounds pretty def poetry/chick lit lite (it’s based on an Alicia Erian novel), Towelhead was written and directed by Alan Ball, who wrote American Beauty and created Six Feet Under, so you know there’s gonna be some dark shit going on.

It premiered at Sundance to overwhelmingly positive reviews.  And if nothing else, Aaron Eckhart is in it, and I trust his chin.  Would a guy with a cleft like that ever steer you wrong?  I think not, my friend.
