New Line has released a slew of new images from the Sex and the City movie – you can see the full shots here, but I think it’s much funnier to crop and enlarge random extras out of context, as I’ve done below. Enjoy.

ComingSoon has the new trailer for Dark Matters, starring Aidan Quinn, Meryl Streep, and some Asian dude.

Dark Matter delves into the world of Liu Xing (Chinese for "Shooting Star"), a Chinese science student pursuing a Ph.D. in the United States in the early 1990s. Driven by ambition, yet unable to navigate academic politics, Liu Xing is inexorably pushed to the margins of American life, until he loses his way.

I like how someone can speak ten languages and build a nuclear-powered spaceship out of pudding cups, but if he opens his mouth and is like, “Herro, I am no speaka Engrish” your first thought is automatically Oh my God, did you hear that, what an idiot!  He don’t even know how to talk right! 

Conversely, if you write a movie synopsis that includes the word "inexorably", you actually probably are an idiot. 

OMG, ScaJo and NPort are totally BFFS!  Please God, let them either make out or shut up.

Ever been to a cocktail party where people tell lame stories and everyone politely chuckles?  Oh. Well I suppose you didn’t need to watch this video then.

This is the newest trailer for the Get Smart remake opening in June.  With Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway (pictured), and Alan Arkin, I thought they did a pretty good job casting it, but from what I’ve seen so far, most of the gags fall flat.

Perhaps the lesson to be learned here is, don’t remake TV shows from like 100 years ago – some of the concepts may have gone stale.  Hey, I got an idea, let’s remake Workers Leaving Factory.  Eat your heart out, Lumiere brothers!

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are obviously trying to capitalize on the success of Step Up, Step 2 the Streets, and the recently announced Step Up 3-D with this latest film, Step Brothers.  But I watched the whole thing and didn’t see one step contest.  I’m so confused!  How will they ever save the rec center? 

Haha, just kidding, that movie obviously would’ve been called Step Brothas. This trailer actually cheered me up a little.  Whereas Semi Pro promos make me want to scream at inanimate objects, this gave me a mild chuckle.  Perhaps Will Ferrell hasn’t Sandlered just yet.
