MTV GETS SERIOUS
01.18.08
This is the poster for Stop-Loss (trailer after the jump). A serious movie about a serious issue with a serious director, Boys Don’t Cry’s Kimberly Pierce. Brought to you by the people who brought us How She Move. Oops.
I mean, if you wanna do a message movie, you probably don’t go to MTV, just like you don’t begin a political discussion with, “Your point about the legitimacy of multinational organizations vis a vis transactions conducted under the rubric of the Helsinki protocols is well taken. However, I was watching TRL the other day and…”

*poot poot*
BONG!!!!!!!!!
The Army is pretty serious stuff, man…good thing he has a minority friend and an ugly stupid girl.
wow, this is the movie that broke up the witherspoon/phillipe marriage. ouch
I’d pay 8 bucks to see Ryan Phillipe get fragged.
if by fragged you mean get it on with zac efron, im in
I’d frag Ryan Phillipe for $8. Actually, I’d do it for free. Hell, I’ll pay ya to let me do it. No talent hack.
I’d pay $50 to see Zac Efron in a Hell in a Cell match with Taker.
I don’t know why, but I could really go for a Mountain Dew™ right now.
oh shit Snow Patrol can only mean young person reflecting upon his life and makes a life changing decision
i think i made that same snow patrol joke last time you posted about this movie, still not funny
empty dooter asshole :(
When "let the bodies hit the floor" came on I could care less but as soon as Snow Patrol’s song played it turned into something I wouldn’t mind seeing. When will "let the bodies hit the floor" stop showing up in movie trailers? Next thing you know it will be in the latest Romantic Comedy starring McDreamy and McAdams.
Good premis for a movie, or a documentary. But fuck MTV and their non-bufferloading ways.
He he. You said "But fuck".
I noticed that as well, Pauly. Classic. Anyways, looks awful. Poor Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He has so much talent… what’s his angle?
i was going to make a joke about drowning pool upping the cred of this movie, but it actually got somewhat interesting towards the end, crappy music aside.
if MTV wasn’t attached id definitely be more willing to see this flick, even though im probably going to see it anyway
wait, so mtv really must care about america huh?
Dor sho gha! Where in Kahless’ Dead Hooker Pile is Serious Cat????
way of the gun fuck start your head – cool.
