ZARDOZ!
09.14.07I'll be honest, I hadn't heard of this until one of my commenters mentioned it. Boy am I glad he did. This is three minutes of nonstop weirdness.

Dude! This movie is the pinnacle of both Connery and Boorman's careers! It is seriously one of the most fucked up films of all time. And if you've only seen the clips online, then you need to check out the whole damn thing … if only so you can learn the meaning behind the title. Hint: it's really deep, man.
ZARDOZ! ZARDOZ!
The gun is good! The penis is evil!
Seriously, anyone that watches that movie with you – THAT'S the moment you lose them.
Yay!!!! I've helped to spread the contagion!!! I actually saw this one in the theater. All in all that was a pretty good year for movies.
Le sigh, my stupid job blocks teh YouTube.
Relapsed: Jesus, you saw this in theaters? Was it a big deal when it came out? When I watched it at home I couldn't imagine a theater full of people sitting through it.
Godotzilla: I think the allegory is quite deep…
Best movie reaction I can compare it to would be Natural Born Killers, Other Dave. Most people just did not understand the film and in turn were pissed off by it.
Cool! See how much better movies were before they really cracked down on drugs?
ZARDOZ!!!!!!
Yes. SOmeone signed on as Bob Loblaw. My life: Complete.
Zardoz: The Special Edition is going to fucking rock. Boorman has never been happy with the editing and the few effects will be helped with a little CGI enhancement. I just hope they include the original version in the DVD so it will be preserved for film history reasons. Plus, the Zardoz purists won't have anything to bitch about. They better not pull that bullshit The Beard pulled with the Star Wars DVDs by releasing the laserdic versions of the films as DVDs. Please Boorman, remaster the film properly for the Zardoz archive edition.
ZARDOZ!!!!!!
Yeah, the whole movie is fucking weird as fuck. My dad loves this movie. Clearly he enjoyed the 60's.
Thanks for triggering one hell of an acid flashback. 'preciate it.
I own this on DVD. It's terrible – and I love it. I may watch it again tonight.
BTW… anything that uses Beethovens 7th, 2nd movement is by default – awesome.
"There's no place like home"
Connery comes out with a killer line near the end of the movie…..
'Stay within my aura, you shall be safe'
After seeing Zardoz in the early 90's I used to use that line a lot on chicks. It was suprisingly succesfull.
Oh, I have loved this crazy movie since I saw it at 3 in the morning.
Kerrishht Almighty. The name's Zardoz! Just Zardoz!
i tried to watch this movie, years ago. Just couldn't sit through it. Complete cobblers.
